An amazing coffee from Nicaragua, provided by our friends at Gold Mountain Coffee Growers.
Pearl is a special Micro-lot coffee from Josefina & Mario Gonzalez and their family farm deep in the Jinotega region. They've lived on their corner of the mountain since 1985.
Our Friends at Gold Mountain hike to their farm every picking season, staying
there until each pass of picking is finished. When we spoke with Ben from Gold Mountain about how we could help, he had mentioned that Josefina and Mario could use a more modern de-pulper to help process more of their coffee. Together with the Gold Mountain crew we took on the challenge to get one to them!
The coffee from El Divino Niño has very solid stone fruit and milk chocolate tasting notes. Think nectarines or white peaches, and a luscious chocolatey finish. We love it, and will continue to support Josefina and Mario, as well as bring in their coffee as a constant offering.
Highly rewarding as a Filter or as a lighter profiled, single origin Espresso.
